Description: Formerly carrying the name of Molecular Imaging, the Agilent Technologies emerged in 1999 as a result of an internal realignment done by Hewlett-Packard. The company was one of two which resulted from this realignment that was intended to allow its mother company to concentrate its resources on Silicon Valley.
