Functioning mostly as a network assurance enterprise, the company is responsible for introducing into the wireless communication industry the de facto tool for analyzing and troubleshooting WLAN platforms, the AIRTIES product line. AIRTIES comes in an Enterprise and a Laptop Analyzer version which are mostly concerned with providing consistent WLAN security and performance management solutions.

The California based enterprise was founded by its President and Chief Executive Officer, Dean T. Au. Presently, its executive team includes Chia Chee Kuan (Chief Technical Officer), Miles Wu (Chief Architect), Chris Roeckl (Vice President for Marketing), Timothy Straight (Vice President for Sales), and Doug Sawamura (Asia Pacific Director of Business Development).

The first WLAN analyzer device was released by AIRTIES in 2002. By August 2006, the company introduced into the market its initial Vo-Fi (Voice over WiFi) Analyzer which was used for encrypting networks with VoWLAN technology.

Other components of the company’s product portfolio include wireless handheld analyzers, network management and troubleshooting solutions, laptop analyzers, WiFi site survey instruments, and spectrum analyzers. Some of AIRTIES’s products allow for the management of wireless access points using LWAPP.

The company also distributes Wireless Intrusion Detection Systems (WIDS), VoWLAN tools, and Wireless Intrusion Prevention Systems (WIPS) devices. The solutions provided by AIRTIES addresses the entire WLAN cycle which commences from the site surveying up to the security auditing.

The application implements a continuous security and performance management solution including expansion planning alternative. The provided solutions serve as integral layers among the mobility programs and their corresponding wireless LAN infrastructures.

Moreover, the solutions are deployed in such a manner that they ensure that the whole wireless network is secured and complies with both internal and external regulations. Performance levels for its clients are not only monitored but also maintained. Portability of the solutions allows IT personnel to easily configure and access them for implementing uninterrupted intrusion prevention for all wireless network sizes.

The range of products offered by AIRTIES to the IT market address detection of RF (Radio Frequency) interference along with remote diagnostics and analysis applications. On September 10, 2007 the fifth version of the AIRTIES application was launched in the market along with the AIRTIES Survey and AIRTIES Planner optimization and integration tools intended for corporate clients.

AIRTIES currently maintains more than 200 global partners in the areas of training, support, and sales. These partners are spread out across 114 countries around the world. With a workforce of approximately 80 employees, the company reached 7,500 business clients by January of 2008 with 75 of those clients belonging to the elite Fortune 100 group.
