Ambit Microsystems Corp. is known for manufacturing and developing power solutions and OEM/DOM connectivity. Their products and services are provided to the telecommunications and computer companies. Other products that are being manufactured by the company are DC-DC converters, routers, back light inverter, AC-DC front ends, modems, LAN modules, wireless products, and VoIP products.

The Next Generation 2-line EMTA was introduced by the company to the IT community last September of this year. Ambit Microsystems and Cisco Company has been partners for many years. The company is Cisco’s ODM partner. With the partnership, the Cisco Mini-Peripheral Component Interconnect 350 (MPI350) was manufactured by Ambit Microsystems. The said product is an adapter embedded on laptop computers. The adapter is Wi-Fi certified with the use of DSSS (direct sequence spread spectrum) technology. In addition, it is able to connect to other devices equipped with wireless LAN.
