DESCRIPTION: Artisoft is a company that is headquartered in the Republic of Macedonia. Its aim involves paving the way towards a society that is knowledge-based via the delivery of business intelligence programs and information communications technologies.
The company was established in October of 1995 and initially was involved in the development of static websites. Two years after its inception, Artisoft began to develop the Artisoft Integrated Information System or ArtAIIS. In Macedonia, it had been regarded as the first Enterprise Resource Planning System or ERP. It was in 2000 that the company began engaging in electronic business portals.
It was in 2002 that Artisoft began preparations for penetrating the international market with the assistance of the Macedonian Association for Information Technology or MASIT. The year after, the company became a recipient of an award for the overall development of information technology products and was invited to participate in the First WSIS Summit held in Geneva, Switzerland.
It was in December of 2005 that ArtAIIS won the first prize for the Private Sector Information Technology Excellence because of its big contribution to the rate of investment or ROI in the Macedonian market. ArtAIIS is the ERP centralized web solution of the company. It is employed in monitoring, improving business administration, measuring, controlling and processing every resources and documentation inside an organization.
The said solution may be accessed through the web and functions as an instrument for the analysis, reporting, managing, planning and marketing resources in order for companies to become a little more competitive in their respective industries. Web technology is the primary development platform of ArtAIIS.
ArtNet is Artisoft’s Intranet solution that provides a comprehensive suite of Internet tools which could be employed to increase the communication, collaboration and productivity of the client company. It is utilized in the transfer of documents, task management, internal messaging system, online chatting, planning, calendars, surveys and forums.
The collaboration tools of the ArtNet include online calendars, document management, polling applications and employee tracking. ArtNet has communication tools such as online discussions, group announcements, online chat and Internal Mail systems. Among the productivity tools of this Intranet solution are group links and the task manager while its security and administration tools include data encryption, secure member access and secure hosting.
The Enterprise Portal or ePortal is the business-oriented CMS solution of Artisoft. It may be implemented for company profile presentations in the Internet and for controlling web appearance. The CMS solution may also be employed in the building of web portals, electronic market places and complex web pages. The configuration of the ePortal includes JavaScript, DHTML and CSS-based HTML web pages, Dynamic Website with scripts from the client, and web folders for editing and exchanging documents.
ArtHIS is Artisoft’s hotel management software. It is designed for motels, resorts and hotels and focuses in the reliability, speed, property management integration, and ease of use. The said software aids in the analysis of marketing and financial data and managing reservations. It is comprised of the Property Management System and HR module and the Administration module.
The Property Management System module gives users information on every sort of hotel property while the Administration module provides an easy administration of the program.
