About Audigy Drivers
Audigy drivers are the programs used by your computer to run Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy, Audigy 2, and Audigy 4 sound cards.
While you may think there is no difference between the Creative Labs Sound Blaster and the Audigy drivers, you would be wrong. The Audigy drivers incorporate newer technology - allowing the cards to better support Open AL hardware acceleration, speaker output is synchronized with Windows settings, and it reduces distortion in older media types (midi and wav files).
