Axonix’s MediaMax is a Media Server that enables access to Web media-on-demand, photographs, music and films for schools, businesses and homes. Axonix’s SuperVue products are video and CD/DVD servers for the enterprise network. MediaMax HD has gained its reputation as the leading Blu-Ray Media Server with HDTV resolution. This resolution affords six times that of the resolution obtained from Standard Definition DVDs. It also offers enhanced sound quality with improved surround sound in digital format, and interactive capabilities. It also provides additional tracks that are not offered by SD DVDs. The MediaMax HD is capable of showing Blu-ray films through Cover Art. It is made up of the MediaServer Pro RAID 4U HD and the MediaDeck 4 HD.

The MediaMax HD was launched in August 2007, and affords the unequaled quality provided by 1080p Blu-ray films. Its integrated StealthLoader and TriDrive enable the user to load either an SD DVD or Blu-ray film while playing another media or film at the same time. The MediaMax permits the user to watch a slide show; listen to Web radio, iPod, MP3 and CD music; and view films. Meanwhile, Axonix’s MediaDeck 4HDT Tera combines a Storage Server and a Blu-ray Player into a single unit. For RAID storage, Tera has the capability of one terabyte, and for non-RAID storage, Tera could store one or two terabytes. The Tera does not need a MediaServer but the user could add MediaDecks or a MediaServer as the media collection expands. Axonix’s MediaServer Pro RAID 6 has the capability to keep as much as 13 terabytes of media files. Thus, it could hold up to 350 Blu-ray DVDs or 2,000 SD DVDs, including thousands of photographs and music CDs. It also increases the protection afforded by RAID 5 arrays by two-fold.
