Louis Chiu is the founder and Managing Director of the firm. He is also the Manager of the Sales and Marketing Division.

Though BaudTec has a broad range of communication products, it specializes in developing 56Kbps fax and modem devices. Aside from developing devices, they also produce PCI fax and modem cards with Smartlink, Motorola, PCTEL, and Agere chipset solutions.

Their products include USB 56Kbps fax and modem devices with SGS-Thomason chipset solutions, RS232 outer 56Kbps fax and modem devices with Agere chipset products, USB ADSL modems with Conexant chipsets, and ADSL Routers that have Conexant chipset products.

Its VoIP Analog Terminal Adapter is cost-effective for applications using the SIP v1/v2 technology. Its integrated active device (IAT) includes the CW243VR4-2SO and C243VR1-1S models. BaudTec’s 16-Port 10/100 switch has practical Ethernet switching solutions.

BaudTec’s Integrated Access Device (IAD) solution offers a complete Ethernet router and bridge, Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g, and Internet Telephony capabilities. It also provides reliable ADSL performance with fast connection from an Ethernet connection or telephone line to an Ethernet hub or host computer.

The voice features of IAD include telephony functions such as call forwarding, call hold and call waiting.

BaudTec is trusted because of its high quality products. It is an authorized original- equipment manufacturer (OEM) of well-known brands. Its contracted manufacturer in China is GBM/Global Brands Manufacture Ltd., among others.

Its safety and standard qualification certifications include International Standards Organization 9001, ISO9002, Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive, and the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive. As an effort to promote its outstanding products, BaudTec will be joining Germany’s Hannover Show in March 2009.

Its main markets are based in Asia, Europe, Australia, South America and the United States. Its main corporate objective is to concentrate on the data communications field. Another objective is to focus on electronic and networking products.
