In October of 2005, the company had to change its corporate name to Walton Chaintech Corporation in order that it would be able to obtain the controlling share in the Walton Advanced Engineering. Walton was responsible for having pioneered packaging systems and IC testing. Walton Chaintech Corporation likewise was made an official part of the Passive System Alliance (PSA) group.
Chaintech is most remembered for producing motherboard and graphic cards. The company also produces hardware products such as modems, memory modules and sound cards. However, in October of 2006, Chaintech abandoned its motherboard industry to concentrate on the NAND flash memory venture. On the same date, the company again changed its corporate name to Walton Chaintech Computers.
Walton Chaintech Computers made a tactical jump and change in its product line by shifting to the memory business and with it cam a new brand name called APOGEE. The company aims to transport the products of its customers with the use of IC sourcing, binding and testing. The company’s APOGEE Memory Modules utilizes the "Wafer-in" and "Module-out" flow system and are created in-house under a strict quality control system.
Walton Chaintech Computers was also responsible for launching a top of the line collection of memory products. The company’s focus is on the production of engineering quality memory modules, over-clocking memory modules and server memory modules.
The company had also introduced flash USB drives and flash memory cards for worldwide use. To ate, the company’s memory business produces half of the company’s total sales. The increasing sales volume can be principally attributed to the APOGEE product that is acknowledged as one of the worlds leading products in its category.
Walton Chaintech Computers is also trying to widen its product line by entering the Graphics Card business. The company is dedicated to the development of memory modules technology and aims to be one of the world’s top producers in memory modules and graphics cards.
