During the GlobalComm 2006 in Chicago, USA, the company introduced one of the company’s latest server products called the Comtrend Auto-Configuration Server (ACS), configured for Standards-based TR-069 Management. The Comtrend server offers programmed provisioning and management. It also allows the user to have complete control of the customer’s equipment. The ACS allows remote update of the server.

Comtrend Corporation together with DS2 Corporation was responsible for designing and manufacturing the industry-leading 200 Mbps Comtrend products used on various multimedia applications for network systems. At present, the two companies merged their collective efforts and are in the process of developing the 400 Mpbs product as part of their technology for high-speed powerline communications. These have been used by various service providers as well as home owners for networking purposes.

The company has garnered numerous accolades in the telecommunications industry for its Multimode DSL wireless router. This provides a Multimode DSL solution to home users and service providers.

Comtrend’s achievements include he initial use and market of VDSL2/ADSL2+ Multimode Residential Gateway and the Embedded IP Set Top Box. It is also is also one of the earliest companies to introduce the Powerline Home Networking system.

The company holds its operation and headquarters at Taiwan. It has offices spread in China, Taiwan, Brazil, United Kingdom, Spain, France, United States, and Canada and is continuously developing key design products.
