The company initially sold products under the name of Dataproducts and Ink Station. Its subsequent acquisition by the Clover Technologies Group, LLC (based in Ottawa, Illinois) allowed the company to increase its growth but retains the use of the Dataproducts brand name. The company also accomplished the feat of being a part of the Magazine 500’s fastest growing privately held companies in the United States in 2004 (its third consecutive year).

The company is responsible for the production of both compatible and original imaging supplies in the consumable printing peripherals market. The brand compatible products of the company offer users up to thirty percent in savings against the original cost of printing peripherals.

These compatible cartridges and toners can perform with almost the same consistency and quality as the original accessories provided by internationally established OEM suppliers like Hewlett-Packard, Lexmark, Dell, and Canon among others. Dataproducts uses the original recycled cartridges from these OEMs to maintain product quality.
