Description: GVC Corporation, an electronic computer company, is a Taiwan-based company. The company’s top executive includes Mr. Nelson Wang as Senior Vice President. The company also has a team of highly competent management and consulting officers to help run the daily operations of the companies.

GVC has a manufacturing and logistics support teams that are spread throughout the globe. Its principal headquarters can be found in Taipei, Taiwan and also has production facilities in places such as the Philippines, Ireland and the United States.

GVC had signed several working agreements with some of Japan’s component suppliers as well as US firm for the manufacture and development of its products. These companies include Apple Developer Connection, Bulldog Beach and Frontline Software.

GVC used Apple Developer’s Web objects for the formulation of enterprise solutions while Bulldog’s Wirehose server was used for the creation of personalized web applications that would categorize, index and deliver all types of media. As to Frontline Software, GVC integrated the formers Frontbase RDBMS database server into GVC’s creation of databases.

The company entered into other strategic partnerships for the purpose of further developing its products. In the year 2000, the company had an agreement with Conexant Systems Inc. for the supply of InfoSurgeCN9414 single-chip cable modem solution which would then be integrated into GVC’c PCI cable modems. Thee modems have the feature of being built-in with the computers and requires no procedure to install or setup.

On March 6, 2001, GVC entered into another contract, this time with Advanced Recognition Technologies Inc. (ART) for the supply of the latter’s smARTspeak Voice Recognition technology which would be incorporated on every GVC information product.

A contract with Ericsson was also entered into by GVC last April 1, 2002 for the former’s sophisticated GPRS mobile platforms which would be integrated into GVC’s handset communication products.

The company’s partnership deals were not limited to component suppliers but also extended to various industrial leaders for retail partnerships. On May 25, 1999, GVC entered into an exclusive bundling deal with 01 Communiqué Laboratory Inc. for the inclusion on GVC’s modem the COMMUNICATE! PRO communication software. An agreement with Gentek Marketing was also made to authorize Gentek to become the exclusive distributor of GVC products.

At present, the company is one of the global leaders in developing and manufacturing semiconductors and service related to it. Its product portfolio includes communications products, computers as well as consumer electronics. The company’s principal products are modems, motherboards, notebooks, desktop computers and monitors.
