Description: In 1947, Kenwood Corporation was created as Kasuga Radio Corporation in Komagane Nagano Prefecture. The company began to product radio components like high-frequency coils. Kenwood Corporation was able to achieve the NHK approval certificate. The company was the first one to receive such certificate in history.

The company’s name was changed to Kasuga Radio Industry Corporation in the year 1950. The company built another main office in Tokyo, Japan specifically in Ota-Ku in the year 1955. After that it automatically started to manufacture radio, measurement and communications devices.

Since then, Kenwood Corporation was known as the leading manufacturer of audio, measurement and communications products. Today, the company has tight relationships with large companies like Zetron, Inc and Tokyo Communications Equipment Company.

The company has three specific categories. The categories are composed of the following communications division, home electronics division and car electronics division.

The division for Car Electronics is responsible for developing products to attract new demands. It manufactures new car audio components like USB devices and systems compatible that has digital media.
