Noteworthy’s line of product is wide and encompassing. They have covered almost all types of networking and communication requirements of notebooks during their years of existence. They have created modem drivers, audio adapters, audio video capture PC cards, cellular modems, token ring devices, SCSI devices, and SCSI audio combo devices.

Most of Noteworthy’s products were low-end devices. This is the proof that their company had existed several years ago. With little or no driver upgrades available, their products have seen discontinuance and can never be used with the newer operating systems of today.

Noteworthy’s line of modem devices work on the first generation PCMCIA ports and has a speed of only 28.8 kbps. Given these facts, Noteworthy’s devices can only run on Windows 95 platform and sometimes on Windows 98. Higher operating systems are no longer supported, as there were little drivers and resources available for them.

With the release of newer computers these days that work on faster processors and better software, Noteworthy’s products see no space for use in today’s computer industry. Together with the company itself, little or absolutely no information or sources can be found about these products today. Most of Noteworthy’s branded devices have been replaced with better devices.

There are no Noteworthy products available in the market today and there are no drivers to make them run either. This indicates that Noteworthy have failed to keep up with the ever-changing industry of computer hardware. Their business has proven incapable of withstanding the high pressure and stiff competition amongst big brands in the industry.

Today, big networking companies focus on creating communications and Ethernet products for faster and bigger desktop computers and smaller and thinner notebooks. People still using the Noteworthy modems and PCMCIA cards for their computers are encouraged upgrading to a newer system.
