Description: PCTronix is a Taiwanese company that manufactures computing device peripherals and add-on gadgets. This company started operations in 1998 by producing variants of the track ball computer mouse.

After it has successfully introduced itself as a stable manufacturer of the mentioned input device, it started innovating other input and output gadgets for computers, thus expanding its market internationally and acquiring clients as far as South America.

At present, PCTronix has clients in Lima, the United States, Germany, Peru and other South American Countries. The company’s headquarters, as well as many other clients, is in Asia. Its managing office is established in Taiwan while its manufacturing facility is based in Shenzhen, China.

Other PCTronix development facilities have been established in Korea and the United States, each with their own respective technology assignments to develop. Presently, PCTronix is mainly producing common additional hardware for computers and providing local entrepreneurs cheaper exported products. After the computer mouse, PCTronix started to venture into developing sub-woofers and speakers in 1999. In the year 2000, PCTronix released its various models of keyboards to complement its mouse input hardware products.

The mouse and keyboard tandem has been able to sell well on the international market, since the product of the company was concluded to be one of the lowest costing computer hardware products at that time. In 2002, to keep up with the rising trends and needs of using the Internet, PCTronix also started to manufacture digital cameras and web cams.

Today, PCTronix is not only known as a low-cost hardware supplier, but also a manufacturer of uniquely designed computer peripherals. The series of hardware models of various designs included a web cam that looked like a toy penguin, and a 3M mouse that resembled an actual mouse. Recently, the company has begun producing accessories for laptops. PCTronix has also partnered with several corporations in producing computer hardware and novelty items for corporations, bearing the company client's identity icon or design.
