Details: Protocol HHTTP
Protocol HHTTP appears to be a typo with the user
most likely meaning to enter protocol HTTP. Virtually no information is
available for protocol HHTTP though a wealth of information is available
for HTTP which stands for hyper text markup protocol. HTTP is a
client-server protocol that defines how information is formatted online
as well as how it is transmitted. Presumably, protocol HHTTP is the
same. The original hypertext protocol, known as HTTP 0.9 and later
replaced by HTTP 1.0, has been revised to address a number of issues and
innovations made since the original debut of http in 1990. For example,
in June 1999, RFC 2616 made HTTP 1.0’s RFC obsolete, replacing it with
the new HTTP 1.1 protocol. HHTTP is not mentioned in any documentation
with any of the authority sites responsible for standardizing and
recording protocols. However, Kernel TCP Virtual Server, or KTCPVS,
which is a load balancing application within the Linux kernel uses an
hhttp scheduler to assign jobs to a server. In this case, protocol hhttp
isn’t so much a protocol, but rather a command that’s used in
conjunction with other commands.
