After developing the leading SCAN 3-in-1 scanner controller SoC in the year 1999, SQ Technology completed a fully-integrated solution of DSC SoC series in the year that followed.

This success paved the way to another milestone—the IP CAM SoC with image tracking and video compression function, in the year 2004. Features such as dynamic image tracking and detecting were incorporated into products like the IP (Internet Protocol) Cam Controller and PC Cam Controller. Guided and subsidized by the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Taiwan, it developed a new technology and its products acquired a full integration.

In the year 2005, SQ Technology introduced the card-read type MP3 SoC Solution. This product from SQ Technology is believed to be the most competitive in the market. Its type of basic function minimizes the relevant engineering level and matches all kinds of toys to satisfy the market requirement within the shortest time at a very suitable price.

SQ Technology also developed a new USB 2.0 PC Cam SoC Solution in the year 2006. It has attracted the component market of Notebook Embedded and USB 2.0 PC Cams.

With the popularity of digital images, SQ Technology introduced the digital photo frame at reasonable display panel prices in the year 2006.
