Through the careful establishment of its foundation, the company was chosen to act as system integrator for 3COM and NOKIA in 1977. The V series modem of the company was specifically approved in 1984 by Taiwan PTT’s Directorate General for Telecommunication. To ensure that the company maintains its growth, it increased capitalization to NTD$400 million in 1995 together with the creation of Taicom International to service the US market.

ISO 9001 certification was granted to the company in 1996, and, the following year, its ISDN TA products hit the Japanese IT market. By 1998, the company introduced the 11-channel Pair Gain System, and before the end of 1999, it founded the R&D center for its Internet networking products.

Presently, the company features its VoIP product series that is composed of its USB VoIP Gateway and 54Mbps Wireless VoIP 2FXS 1FXO host. Its router product line is currently classified into Outbound Load Balance, IN/OUT Bound Load Balance, and Giga router. These routers can cater anywhere from 80 to 350 simultaneous users in a single network. Its diverse range of internal and external modems all adhere to the V.90 and V.92 communication standards. In addition, the company also developed internal controller-less modem devices.
