Arsenal Capital is a private equity firm that invests in manufacturing and business service industries. It is based in New York City. Capital Source Finance LLC provided the senior debt financing. Tally and Genicom merged in August 7, 2003.

Tally AG became a leading printer company after its foundation. It set the trend in inkjet and line matrix technology. Genicom LP, on the other hand, focused on the market printing mid-range documents. It developed laser, serial, and line matrix printers.

TallyGenicom offers impact and laser printers. These include line matrix, serial matrix, monochrome laser and color laser printers. It also offers printer parts, printer supplies, printer services and printing solutions.

Tallygenicom gives optimal solution and services in back office printing for industries such as logistics, retail, route accounting, banking and many more. TallyGenicom’s market consists mostly of Fortune 500 companies. One of the most preferred items is the 9050N Mono laser printer. It can deliver up to 50 pages per minute with a high resolution of 1200 dots per inch.

It started in thermal printing in April 2008. The TallyGenicom 7005 is the first of this series of thermal desktop printers. It has a full-connectivity suite, patented USB, popular language emulations, and a print speed of 5 inches per second.

The 7000 Series thermal printers are still of the entry-level kind. They cost much less than the top-of-the-line printers such as the Zebra Xi Series produced by Zebra Technologies. They also produce lower throughput than Zebra printers.
