The company is headquartered in Gerlingen and has over 275 subsidiaries. Franz Fehrenbach was named Chairman of the Board in 2003. Robert Bosch GmbH acquired Telex Communications Holdings, Inc. for the aggregate acquisition price of $ 420 million. Upon completion of the merger, the surviving company is still headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Telex then became a part of the Bosch Security Systems, a Bosch Group division that has over 7,800 associates in over 40 locations in the Americas, Asia Pacific, and Europe.
