On the forefront of enabling Internet phone solutions, TigerJet Networks provides low-cost telephony solutions. The company also designs and develops high performance silicon and software solutions for communication networks.

TigerJet Network’s first product was the high-integration Tiger 300 ISDN PCI modem controller chip. This product received the Windows Logo for Windows 95, Windows 98, and Windows NT. Its second product was the low-cost and easy-to-implement Tiger100APC, a PCI interface chip allowing a speedier migration of existing ISA designs to the PCI bus.

In 2003, the company affiliated with Winbond Electronics Corporation America, a leading supplier of semiconductor solutions, to offer a low-cost high-quality chip set solution for the growing Internet phone market. They combined Winbond’s W68151 CODEC and the Tiger560 VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) processor to produce a low-cost high-quality USB Internet phone. W68151 features improved single channel voice CODEC solutions including low power and single supply voltage. Tiger560 also offers a cheap yet effective solution for Internet telephony applications.

TigerJet also laid out a complete family of Internet phone reference designs based on the Tiger560 USB VoIP controllers in 2001. This enabled the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Internet phone manufacturers to produce high-quality Internet phone products for the USB and PCI bus. In 2005, the company also introduced Tiger560C, the first single chip solution to provide VoIP functionality by interfacing a standard phone to a USB port.

In 2007, the company released Tiger581, a single chip solution for USB phones with an integrated flash drive controller, echo cancellation, and a 16-bit audio codec to support a speaker phone. Combining high audio quality and user convenience at an ideal price, Tiger581 was specifically developed for the mass market business environment. This product is also compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista, Linux, and Macintosh operating systems. It also supports all popular VoIP applications.
