Transaction Printer Group is engaged in the design, manufacture and marketing of receipt printers and POS products, and software allowing users to print logos, watermarks and other graphics. TPG's POS products are the A776, A760, B780 and A794. A776 and A760 are two-color thermal/impact hybrids that print at speeds from 100 mm/s to 200 mm/sec. These printers were designed to operate at low energy consumption and to withstand high volume printing. The B780 is a two-color validation slip/receipt with MICR that prints at 200 mm/sec. It can print watermarks, coupons and logos. The A794 is a single station thermal printer. It is one of the most compact printers in the market. The latest receipt printers of TPG are the A798 and A799. The former is a single station monochrome printer that delivers high speed printing at 150 mm/sec. at an affordable price. A799 is a two-color single station printer that prints at 250 mm/sec. Both of these models may be linked to a computer using a Serial, Parallel, USB or Powered USB. Both also have a small footprint at 144 mm x 185 mm.

In support of its customers, TPG services and repairs its printers and printheads including the discontinued models. They also keep a steady supply of consumables and spare parts to minimize the down time of their printers.

The motors placed in TPG machines are ensured to be RoHS compatible, and the company is currently attempting to qualify a plastic based resin that is RoHS compatible. They are also researching about substitute components for mechanical parts that are made from steel that contains traces of lead.
