Description: Transcend Information Inc. was established by Mr.Peter Shu in 1988. Transcend is in the field of memory and consumer electronics. Its first headquarters was located in Taipei, Taiwan. In 1989, it started manufacturing the first memory product for laser printers. Transcend has offices in USA, Germany, Netherlands, Japan, Hong Kong, China, United Kingdom, and Korea and factories in Taiwan and China. Transcend made partnership with Sun, ASUS, Intel, Toshiba, and Apple.

Transcend Equity was founded by Mr. Gossett in December, 2001. Mr. Gossett’s professional highlights are projects with the entire system of Dallas Public School, Citibank buildings worldwide and the largest commercial office complex in the world, the Rockefeller Center.

From 2006 to 2007, it was one of Top 20 Global Brands in Taiwan, and No.62 worldwide in the 2008 Business Week's InfoTech 100. Recently, according to IDC Research India, Transcend ranked Number 1 in sales of its flash drives, portable hard discs, portable media players and memory cards, beating Kingston, Sandisk, Apple. The company’s StoreJet 25M receives Japan’s Good Design Award.

Transcend’s international sales income in October reaches US$90.67 million, breaking its 9.2 million unit record.
