Description: Tulip is an India-based provider of data communication services. This company was originally integrated as Tulip Software Private Limited in New Delhi, India on May 19, 1992 under the Companies Act, 1956 vide Registration Number 55-48817. Its name was changed to Tulip Software Ltd. and became a deemed Public Company on July 1, 1997. Tulip has started operations as a software products trader in the year 1992. Tulip was endorsed by Ms. Maninder Bedi and Lt. Col Hardeep Singh Bedi.

Between the years 1994 and 1995, the company has diversified into hardware and successfully became a principal partner of foremost computer manufacturers. Between 1995 and 1996, the company further diversified its product profile and changed the chief nature of its business from being a small computer software dealer to a well-known system integrator. This changed its patrons from the small and medium ones in the private sector to the enormous business enterprises in India. Tulip opened its Mumbai branch in 1996. This branch helped the company as a whole in expanding its operations in western India. And during this year, the company has started offering turnkey telecommunications solutions to major groups and enterprises. Tulip discovered the potential to become a Network Integrator in 2000 and during this year that it has started tapping this kind of business.

In 2002, the name of Tulip Software Ltd. was renamed to Tulip IT Services Ltd. This data communication services enterprise has moved its registered office in 2003. Currently, the company has 13 years old organization and has gone through a series of diversifications, expanding its reach at different locations in India and has already set up a subsidiary in Singapore.

Between the year 2004 and 2005, the company has launched its Tulip Connect Wireless- based IP/VPN services, providing connectivity across cities. And within a short span of time, it was able to attain orders worth Rs. 1,568 Lacs. Tulip has started providing Internet on wireless network in Kerala’s Malappuram district.

Business World has ranked Tulip as 79th in India's best performing mid-sized enterprises on its “Tomorrow's Giants” report. India’s Voice & Data Magazine also ranked Tulip as the country’s fourth largest network integrator in their Networking Masters Issue. Among the top clients of Tulip includes Sapiant, Inlott, HDFC Bank and Playwin. Its network successfully connected remote cities like Guwahati, Rudrarpur, Baddi and Parwanoo.
