Imagination Technologies has two divisions: Technology and PURE Digital. The Technology Division is composed of three IP (Internet Protocol) families. It covers that of digital radio and audio, mobile phone, multimedia, car navigation and driver information, personal navigation, mobile Internet device, ultra mobile personal computer, digital television and set-top box, and mobile television.

The company employs a business model that uses an IP licensing with up-front license and design service fees, and per unit royalties. The company also offers services including support, tools, full SoC design and customization.
