Description: YUAN High-Tech was founded and established in October 1990. Its main headquarter is located in Taiwan. YUAN is principally engaged in the development, design and manufacture of high-standard and high-quality ODM/OEM MPEG2/4 encoder/decoder, TV tuner card and other surveillance products.
YUAN announced its product named Fram Grabber in 1994. This product was honored and was granted the “Best Product of the Year” award from the Comdex Show. In August of the same year, YUAM released its VCD MPEG I. It is a new addition in the company’s product line. In November 1995, YUAN launched its second generation of scan converters. YUAN launched its second generation of scan converters. Two years after, a new product was introduced. This was the DVD MPEGII. It also started providing its customers with the AGP VGA card. A year after, the third generation of scan converter was launched. It was in May of the same year when YUAN added some graphic cards to its product line.
In July 2000, YUAN opened its new factory in Taoyuan, Taiwan. In 2001, YUAN launched its MP3 pen drive and shortly after this launching, the introduction of the company’s own DVD Player was introduced. It was in the same year when the company received the ISO-9001 certification. After two months, YUAN was listed in the GTSM with a ticker name and number TW-GTSM 5474. It then became a publicly held company. In October of the same year, YUAN released its MPEG I/II encoder to its market in Japan.
YUAN moved its Research and Development Office to Duan Hua N. Rd in 2002 and has since developed and manufactured many other useful products in the industry.
Although YUAN has many products in its products line, it is still well-known in the TV Tuner industry. It has held the position as the top manufacturer of TV tuners for over a decade now. YUAN’s products are also famous because these products can support different types of interfaces, functions and TV standards. It aims to continue playing its role as an experienced and expert OEM/ODM company to efficiently bring the multimedia technology to the world.
